dLAN® 85 HSplus

The global market leader in the HomePlug powerline segment, devolo AG of Aachen, Germany, is announcing the immediate availability of its innovative HomePlug adapter dLAN® 85 HSplus. By using an integrated mains filter, the device improves the quality of the data transmission and simultaneously ensures through its integrated electrical socket that no power outlet goes to waste. The patented PowerSave technology guarantees an energy-saving home network.

The powerline specialist devolo AG is announcing the immediate availability of the dLAN® 85 HSplus. The new member of the dLAN® high-speed family is a clever technical and practical innovation: Thanks to the integrated electrical socket, no power outlet goes to waste. Additional terminal devices or even power strips can be connected to the device. As such, the integrated mains filter significantly improves data transmission in the home network. With the patented devolo PowerSave technology, the adapter uses 30% less energy when the connected network device is off.

The devolo dLAN® 85 HSplus offers a transmission rate of up to 85 Mbps and is designed for easy plug-and-play connections between router, computer and other network-compatible devices. Furthermore, full compatibility with devolo adapters of the first HomePlug generation is guaranteed. The set-up requires absolutely no software. However, a software package is available for Windows XP, Vista and even Windows 7 for ambitious users. Also in the scope of delivery is the devolo dLAN® tool for Mac OS X and Linux on CD-ROM.

The dLAN® 85 HSplus is now available in specialist stores at a suggested retail price of 79.90 euro. The dLAN® 85 HSplus Starter Kit includes two adapters for setting up a simple dLAN® network and costs 139.90 euro.
